OCA and RDA release Economic Growth and Investment Strategy

The Outback Communities Authority (OCA) and Regional Development Australia Far North (RDAFN) are pleased to announce and release an Economic Growth and Investment Strategy for the unincorporated areas of outback South Australia.

The strategy identifies key areas, projects or activities which will have immediate, medium and long-term economic benefits for the outback and informs a targeted, strategy approach to facilitate change towards a prosperous future for the outback.

OCA Chair, Cecilia Woolford, said "The identified key areas will be collated and analysed in partnership with outback communities and will result in the preparation of a short, sharp and engaging 'oneOutback' Prospectus document targeted at government agencies and prospective investors in our region."

Ms Woolford added that the oneOutback Prospectus is expected to be completed by the end of the year and hopes that it is the catalyst for real economic outcomes that have been prioritised by outback communities.
