Community Input Sought On Annual Business Plan and Budget 2015-16

The Outback Communities Authority (OCA) has commenced consultation on its Annual Business Plan and Budget for 2015-2016 and is seeking input from those with an interest in the outback.

Supporting the OCA’s Strategic Management Plan (SMP) 2015-2020 which identified 3 broad objectives for the five years commencing 1 July 2015, the annual business plan and budget focuses on key issues for 2015-2016.

OCA Chair, Ms Cecilia Woolford said “With a degree of certainty around the SMP the Authority has turned its attention toward consultation on an annual business plan and budget for 2015-16.  The business plan and budget is intrinsically linked to the SMP and sets the Authorities priorities for 2015-16.  Being the first year of a new SMP the Authority will make 2015-2016 a year to plan for the future”.

“We received good feedback on our five year plan.  Now we want your thoughts on the first 12 months.  Again, I encourage anyone that has an interest in outback SA to have a say on how our thinking can be improved before we take it to the Minister for approval” Ms Woolford said.

A copy of the Annual Business Plan and Budget has been posted on the OCA’s web site together with a feedback form.  Hard copies and feedback forms are also available on request to the OCA;
